Welcome to the College of Fine Arts, Kumbakonam, established in 1887 and affectionately known as the “BOMMAI SCHOOL.” Over its storied history, the institution has thrived under various administrative bodies, including the Government of Tamil Nadu since 1965. Notable alumni like SILPI and MALI have emerged from its ranks, shaping the arts landscape. Today, the college offers advanced courses and modern infrastructure, adhering to guidelines set by the All India Council for Technical Education. Our dedicated faculty, continuously updated in their qualifications, ensures a high-quality education for aspiring artists.
