About College

Founded in 1887, the College of Arts and Crafts, Kumbakonam, offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Painting, Visual Communication and Design, and Sculpture. Known as the “BOMMAI SCHOOL,” it has a rich history of producing notable artists and continues to evolve with modern infrastructure and advanced curricula.

Courses

  • Undergraduate: Four-year integrated courses in Painting, Visual Communication and Design, Sculpture.

  • Postgraduate: Two-year Master’s Degree programs in Fine Arts Painting and Sculpture.

  • Electives: Textile Design, Accessories Design, Illustration, Photography, 2D Animation, Product Design, Interior Design, Display Design, Sheet Metal, Wood Sculpture, Stone Sculpture.
